Nitro racing

Do you have a RC car which, you believe, can scorch the land that it runs on?? Then bring it on and let’s see what it does to our track. Get your car on the track and compete head on with the other racers.

P.S : The judge has a soft spot for drifters.

Rules:

General Event Rules:

• Total No. of participants in a team should not exceed 3 members, a team may comprise of students from different institutions.
• Once the Race starts, only one member from the team has the rights to re-position the car, none of the other team members should enter the track
• The Coordinators reserve the right to disqualify any team indulging in misbehaviour. Finals will be time based knockouts.
• First 2 positions will be awarded.

Engine:
• Only nitro engine operated vehicles are allowed
• Maximum displacement of the engine should not exceed 4.5cc.
• Nitro % in the fuel used should not exceed 20%.

About Cars:
• Ready-To-Run kits are accepted.
• If the kit is found unsafe on the track, the co-ordinator has the right to disqualify the team.
• Since the track has Jumps and bumps through-out, only Off-Road RC Nitro cars can race.

Transmitter:
• Both pistol type and stick type transmitters are allowed.
• All the teams participating in the race expected to have 2 crystal transmitters, in case of frequency clash the team have to change their crystals to a different frequency.
• No kit will be provided by the organizers.
